To acquire your secret brand registry code, you will need to correspond with Amazon directly.
Legaly.co is not in possession of your brand registry code and you will need to remove the attorney of record on your trademark registration for Amazon to send you the code.
You will need to update the trademark office with your trademark correspondent information - name, phone number, mailing address, and email address.
Once you have done this, wait 24 hours for the USPTO's website to update and then contact Amazon for your brand registry code.
To update your correspondent information, you will need to follow the following steps.
Step 1.
Go to the Revocation, Appointment, and/or Change of Address of Attorney/Domestic Representative USPTO form.
You can find the form here: https://teas.uspto.gov/ccr/raa
If you do not have an account with the USPTO yet, you will need to create one before you can proceed to the form by clicking the "Create a USPTO.gov Account" link. Otherwise, simply log in to the USPTO.gov account you have already.
Step 2.
Once you have logged in to your USPTO.gov account (or finished the process of creating your account), you should be directed to the Revocation, Appointment, and/or Change of Address of Attorney/Domestic Representative USPTO form. If you are not automatically directed there by the USPTO, click here https://teas.uspto.gov/ccr/raa once you are logged into your USPTO.gov account.
Once you are on the form, enter the trademark application serial number or trademark registration of the trademark you would like to update. Then click continue.
Step 3.
On the next page, answer "yes" to question 1, "no" to question 2, and "no" to question 3. Then click continue.
Step 4.
Click "continue."
Step 5.
Remove all of our contact information. Provide the trademark office your name, mailing address, phone number and email address. Use the email address you want Amazon to email you their secret code. Yes are to click the "Check here to authorize the USPTO to communicate with the owner/holder or the owner's/holder's appointed attorney by email." After updating your information, click "continue."
Step 6.
Type in your /Signature/, date signed, name, your position, and your phone number. Click "validate" to continue.
Step 7.
Type in your email address. Click the "important notice" checkbox. The click submit.
Step 8.
Wait 24 hours for the USPTO to update their records. Then contact Amazon.com and ask them to send you a new brand registry code.
